I started caving in the UK in 1995 and went on my first international caving expedition to the Picos de Europa in 1997.

Since then I have been to the Picos a total of 10 times, been on 6 expeditions to various parts of China and more recently been involved with seven winter expeditions to Myanmar (Burma), as well lots of other destinations too. It is definitely and important aspect of my life.
